Growth Behind Molding at Medical Center

SERVPRO of Sussex County responded to a report of growth and water damage at a local medical center. Being mindful of health risks associated with growth is always important, but it is high priority in a medical setting where you are treating patients who may have compromised immune systems. Fortunately, we are a 24 hr service that always has a team on call to identify and remove a wide variety of potentially hazardous material. This was a large hallway and office area that had been affected by water loss from a sprinkler line. The growth was discovered after removing molding to inspect the damaged drywall. We identified the areas of growth and removed the damaged material.
