Why do some people turn off their water before they leave for an extended time? This particular water loss is a great example. Our customer left the country for several months and neglected to turn off the water to the home. During the course of the trip overseas, a pipe burst and water filled his home causing extensive damage. It was not reported until neighbors witnessed water beginning to flood the surrounding yard.
