Wood Paneling Damaged by Rainwater

This home suffered from consistent rainwater infiltration. Poor weather proofing made it easy for rainwater to drain down the roof into small crevices of the home and well into the interior. Because of the amount of wood construction in the home, rot and moisture damage was widespread. While the woodwork was pretty and exhibited fine craftsmanship, the potential health risks associated with fungal growth and rot required extensive removal. After performing a detailed inspection to find all areas of damaged wood and fungal growth, we explained our findings to the owner. Our technicians efficiently removed all damaged material and contained the spread of rot.
