Flooding Damage to Ground Floor of Local Home

After heavy rains and significant flooding, this customer called us to report odor and potential growth. Flood water contains a wide variety of organic material and organisms that can facilitate health issues and property damage after entering the home. SERVPRO technicians discovered that floodwater had severely damaged drywall and insulation in the home. In addition, growth was present on the drywall, insulation, and some of the wood surfaces. Our team determined the extent of growth through the home, and informed the homeowner. All materials affected by growth and water damage were removed and equipment was placed to ensure quick and thorough drying. The customer was very satisfied.
